LPG Operations Manager- Deer Park, TX buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the supervision of field personnel and coordination of all LPG jobs. Review and approval of all reports (field and lab) for accuracy prior to issuance to client. Ensure invoicing process is correct and timely. Support the LPG Manager in the management of the LPG department
Additionally, responsible for developing, implementing, and measuring customer and SGS performance criteria. Organizing and developing inspection procedures and processes; establishing threshold criteria for non-conformances related to customer expectations, organizing processes for training and development of personnel to meet customers and SGS expectations. Communicate procedures, processes, tools, and guidelines to ensure the safe handling of customer products.
JOB DUTIES
Creates and maintains business relationships with key customers contacts and management through regularly scheduled meetings, anticipating customer needs and ensuring operational excellence;
Continually involved in facilitating operational excellence by communicating customer needs to internal counterparts to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase customer satisfaction;
Increases industry awareness and knowledge by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings;
Work with management to identify projects and priorities;
Initiate, develop and leverage tools, reports, processes and procedures to accommodate customer specific requirement;
Provide training on processes/procedures as needed;
Provide technical support and serve as customer service focal point. Assist client with global process improvements and third party issues;
Review all LPG reports for accuracy and completeness, prior to reporting results to client;
Rectify Invoice Discrepancies and customer disputes.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
College Degree, preferably in technical discipline or transferrable experience; with a minimum of 5 years industry experience;
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels in an organization
Commercial acumen and advanced negotiation skills;
Must have unquestionable business and personal ethical standards and integrity.
High levels of resourcefulness and execution skills (strategy through implementation);
Tenacity and a high level of personal drive are required;
Demonstrates a collaborative approach to problem solving with peers, team members, management and customers
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make sound suggestions or recommendations.
Time management skills which include the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while achieving the different deadlines. Coordinate, manage, and conduct multiple projects within tight deadlines.
Work independently and with limited supervision
REQUIRED SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups both within the organization or while representing the organization.
Excellent time management skills which includes the ability to balance multiple projects concurrently (with different deadlines) and marshal the resources necessary to accomplish them.
High level of accuracy is required, with special attention to details
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written). Must be able to read and comprehend labels and instructions.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Demonstrates strong commitment to SGS HSE Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions by participating in safety meetings, completing required training, intervening in unsafe situations, refusing unsafe work, and complying fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSE.
Responds appropriately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplace.
In accordance with the SGS HSE Management System requirements, disposes of, or directs the disposal of, waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with all waste transportation and disposal regulations and requirements.
Reports all incidents (actual incidents and near misses) in accordance with the SGS Incident Reporting requirements.
Uses all equipment (including safety equipment) in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to supervisor.
Maintain a safe and tidy worksite.
Maintains awareness of hazards and proposes controls to supervisor, HSE Representatives or relevant client / site contact.
Actively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS management.
